“We have a modest (1980’s) home in North Chico ~ 1275 sq/ft that was in need of some major updates. As we looked into remodeling on our own it became overwhelming real quick as we were ripping out cabinets and adding some additional counter space, installing new floors throughout and repainting all rooms, all of which was a lot to comprehend. We ended up putting the project on hold as we had no idea where to start, who to contact or what to do next. We happened upon Lori K Design Studio and thought lets just meet with her and see what she has to say, we instantly felt a great connection with her and she broke down the project so we could understand it. We wanted to maintain our heritage (Mexican/American), but with a newer modern spin, that is when we came up with “Mexico Meets Manhattan”, she went over our style, what we wanted from the remodel and how much we wanted to spend. Lori has her own amazing group of contractors she works with and picked up the project with no hesitation, she kept everyone on track and moving forward never booking them over each other and working in real time, whilst we lived in the house. We added items on throughout our journey (like a full bathroom remodel), but she always kept us mindful our budget and ROI. In the end, we love our New Kitchen & Bathroom as well as the new floors, shutters, and paint throughout the house. It is a new and fresh look that we could have never imagined.”
